Leading homeopathic healthcare facility in Ghana, EndPoint Homeopathic Clinic, has begun a ‘thank you’ tour to selected media houses to show appreciation for their continuous support as the year comes to an end.
The visit forms part of the clinic’s annual corporate social responsibility in showing stakeholders how their support has catapulted EndPoint Homeopathic Clinic to become the number one homeopathic clinic in Ghana and West Africa.
In Accra, the social call was led by Mr. Paul Ebo Quansah, a representative of the clinic’s C.E.O – Dr. Adu Boateng – who made a stop at Despite Group of Companies and Multimedia Group. He presented a cow each to the aforementioned media houses as a token of gratitude.
“You have been with EndPoint Homeopathic Clinic since its inception and continue to support its activities all the time. It is only right that we also show appreciation for the love we receive from you,” Mr. Quansah said.
He continued, “EndPoint Homeopathic Clinic has become the go-to homeopathic clinic in Ghana and West Africa because people get results when they visit our facilities. Despite Group, and Multimedia have helped a lot in propagating these success stories of ours to those far and near. We say thank you.”

Mr. Quansah used the opportunity to announce the appreciation package EndPoint has for the public.

The 2018 edition of Black Stars Striker, David Accam’s Community Soccer Gala has come to a successful end at the Holy Child Nursery School Park, Sakumono, in the Greater Accra Region.
Ten teams participated in the one day soccer gala match organised by the 28 year old Philadelphia Union striker.
At the end of the gala, Nungua Stars emerged winners after beating Arthur Stars to a lone goal in the final.
The winning team, Nungua Stars, received a trophy, set of jerseys, and an amount of GHC 1000. First runner up, Arthur Stars, received set of jerseys, a football, and an amount of GHC 600. One Touch team who placed third in the gala took home a set of bibs and GHC 500.
Manaseh Gyasi and Ephraim Gyasi of Zinaps F/C won the overall Best Player and Best Defender of the tournament respectively after putting up a wonderful performance. For his prize, Manasseh took home a pair of soccer boots and an autographed jersey of David Accam’s Philadelphia Union F.C.
18 year old Manasseh who hails from Teshie, a suburb of Accra, thanked organisers of the tournament – especially David Accam – for such a benevolent act. He also expressed his profound gratitude to his coach Laryea Kingston for guiding and supporting him throughout his playing career. Both Ephraim and Manasseh are expecting to play some trials in Europe after playing some in Cote D’Ivoire.
Attendance was enormous at the Holy Child Nursery School Park as ex Black Stars and Kumasi Asante Kotoko players were there to support David Accam in giving back to the community.
The man called Kwesi Kyei Darkwah (KKD), allegedly penetrated a 19year old in a hotel bathroom against her will. After the story came out, other women recounted how KKD made sexual advances towards them when they were minors, corroborating the story that, KKD is a closet sexual predator.
KKD swaggered his way out of these allegations, using pastors and the victims family to pull the matter out of court. For some years now, KKD has surprisingly grown a polished reputation aided by the media including the organizers of the Ghana Music Awards, who selected this alleged rapist to swagger up and present awards.
Kwesi Kyei Darkwah today, is a walking free man, swaggering in high-end London fashion. If indeed, those allegations from numerous women are true, your young daughters could be in danger. Another case of a homegrown R.Kelly.
Had those pastors with the victim’s family, encouraged the young lady to seek justice, maybe, the walking-stick-wielding Londoner, wouldn’t be a potential risk to your daughters, he would probably be in jail. How do you hold perpetrators accountable if the victims keep hiding?
Understand this; “Fresh” rape allegations are tricky, more so if there isn’t any concrete medical evidence coupled with the victim’s silence. The perpetrator can conveniently claim wrongful accusation. Also, in our case where victims have to pay some amounts before police medical forms get certified, you can imagine how many victims would rather forget everything, than incur more cost.
After all, it’s not as if anyone keeps money for “when they get raped”. The Kayayes who are raped daily, can barely afford to feed themselves.
The problem stretches beyond women accusing men and men feeling victimized. Our systems don’t favour truthful outcomes. There’s basically no psychosocial support for rape victims and people who wrongfully accuse others go unpunished. If KKD and the rest claim to be wrongfully accused, who and whom did they sue for damages? How is it that an alleged sexual predator roams freely just because the victim was influenced to drop the case? Who is monitoring these cases to ensure truthful outcomes?
Understanding issues is key. Every Ghanaian should employ responsiveness, rather than harsh reactions when sensitive issues like this come up.

North Hills International School (NIS), North Legon, has held its 2nd annual Inter-house sports competition with great zeal and fervour.

After approximately three hours of excitement, cheering, and exhibition of intellect, the debate came to an end. The audience and participants applauded as the results were announced. House Yellow took the first position, whilst House Red emerged as the first runners-up.

Accra Circuit Court 9 judge, Ms. Afia Agbanu Kumador, has set Wednesday, March 20, 2019, to pass judgement on Ghana’s national team captain, Asamoah Gyan’s rape, sodomy, and extortion case involving the state and 4 accused persons, namely; Osarfo Anthony (Arts/Entertainment Writer), Chris Handler (Blogger), Sarah Kwablah (Law Student), and Ekow Micah (Musician).
Background Of Case
Daily Guide newspaper published a story in June, 2015, which alleged that Sarah Kwablah, a 21-year-old student, wanted to blackmail Asamoah Gyan with a sex video involving the two parties. The story caught national attention and was met with mixed beliefs and fraught with several conspiracy theories.
Sarah Kwablah’s side of the story was however not captured in the publication. According to the paper, though they reached out to her via SMS, she failed to respond at the time of going to press.
Just after the publication, Sarah Kwablah approached Osarfo Anthony – then a writer for online media GHbase.com and gave her side of the story, stating that Asamoah Gyan raped and sodomized her which was caught on a CCTV in her house, but Daily Guide twisted the narrative of the story as ‘consensual sex’ to favour Gyan.
Sarah provided Osarfo Anthony with all WhatsApp chats between the two parties (Gyan and Sarah), still pictures of her bloody naked body after the alleged rape and sodomy, voice notes from Gyan apologizing for the act, and pleading with her not to let anyone hear about what had happened between them.
The site (GHbase.com) investigated and published more revelations on the alleged rape and sodomy story. Asamoah Gyan’s team contacted the site’s Editor, Chris Handler and Osarfo, and pleaded with them to stop the publications.
The Gyans, later accused Osarfo and 3 others of conspiring to extort money from Gyan with false publications. Osarfo Anthony, Chris Handler, Sarah Kwablah, and Ekow Micah were arrested, charged with conspiracy to extort money and arraigned before court.
Court Facts On Trial After 3 Years
The trial, which promised to be over within some few months due to eagerness, assurance, and readiness from Asamoah Gyan’s lawyer and manager to the press to substantiate their allegation and have the accused convicted has been characterized with shocking and farcical drama in court over the past 3 years.
The first State Prosecutor, ACP Moses Atibilla, relieved himself from the case in strange circumstances; ushering in a Police Prosecutor who also appeared in court for a little over 3 months and handed the case to another State Prosecutor after change of government in 2017.
The current State Prosecutor, Mr. Richard Gyambibi, appeared a few times in court and vanished into thin air without any formal reason to the court. Some police prosecutors in court always held his brief.
The court has thrown out all evidences: chats, SMS, pictures, audio voices, and video, the prosecution tendered against the 4 accused. The evidences were described by defense counsels as fictitious, doctored, and maliciously ‘piece-meal’ to implicate the accused ones. The court, convinced after examining the evidences, struck them all out.
Mr. Mathew Banahene, the landlord whose house Gyan allegedly raped and sodomized Sarah Kwabla (then a tenant), testified just once and stopped going to the court. Mr. Banahene had told the media Sarah Kwablah had pleaded with him to lie to the public that he heard her scream when Gyan was raping her in order to make her story believable. This, the landlord said Sarah promised to pay him $ 20,000 after extorting money from Gyan.
Mr. Banahene fumbled ingloriously in court, a conduct that made the defense counsels respectfully prompted the judge: “My Lord, humbly take note of his conduct. This is how false witnesses behave in the box.”
Defense counsels, Maurice Ampaw and Apanga Lamtiig, punched holes into Mr. Banahene’s wild testimony during cross-examination, describing it as “concocted.” His mouth was not sealed by the court but he stopped going to court to testify. He discharged himself.
The Police Investigator in the case, Richmond Ayayi, was interdicted from the police service for his involvement in an alleged 60 billion cedis gold theft. Though he claimed in his testimony that he’s still a police officer, he could not provide any evidence of reinstatement under cross-examination – till his mouth was sealed and discharged.
Asamoah Gyan’s manager, Samuel Annim Addo, who is the complainant in the trial, stopped attending court proceedings over a year now. In his testimony to the court, Samuel Annim shockingly confessed that it’s Gyan’s lawyer, who advised him to implicate Osarfo Anthony.
Asamoah Gyan’s lawyer, Kissi Agyebeng, who was the believed last witness for the prosecution, after telling the judge in open court a year ago that he would be the next witness, has failed to appear in court to testify. He’s currently no more the lawyer for Asamoah Gyan.
Judge Closes Prosecution’s Case
The trial judge, Ms. Afia Agbanu Kumador, having patiently allowed the prosecution to drag the trial unduly for over 3 years, closed the case of the prosecution “suo motu” (on the court’s own authority):
“The Attorney General Officer, Richard Gyambibi, who is in charge of this case is absent; though the court has adjourned several times to enable him come to court to continue prosecuting this matter.
The PW3 (Landlord) who is in the box, failed to avail himself in court for further cross examination. His evidence is hereby expunged from the records. The court ‘suo motu’ closes the case of the prosecution because despite the substantive prosecutor and the witness having been given several opportunities to come to court to prosecute this matter, they have failed to do so. The case of the prosecution is hereby closed.”
Defense Counsels’ Remarks
All 4 accused, instructed their lawyers to file a submission of no case – which was done, presented, and accepted by the trial judge. According to defense lawyer, Maurice Ampaw;
“All the accused ones did not commit any crime and so this whole trial is a waste of the court’s time, my time, my client’s time, and all who followed this case’s time! Prosecution has not been able to establish any case against any of the accused because the accused ones did not commit the alleged crime in the first place! They are all innocent from day one!
Prosecutor, complainant, and witnesses have all ran away! We were always present in court – daring them to face us! We were fully prepared for this trial but they ran away. I knew they will run away because they have no case.”
He added that, “There’s no need to open any defense. It will be a waste of time for the court and my clients. We want the court to pass judgement based on the submission of no case we submitted. The court accepted it and the judge has written her verdict. The press and all those who want the truth, should be in court to listen to the ruling. Thank you.”
Judge Sets Date For Passing Judgement
Wednesday, March 20, 2019, the Accra Circuit Court 9 will see the trial judge, pass verdict for all and sundry to know whether the suspects are guilty or innocent.

The seminar organized by Endpoint Homeopathic Clinic and GIMPA
As part of its 10 years anniversary celebration, leading homeopathic healthcare facility in Ghana, EndPoint Homeopathic Clinic, on Thursday, July 18, 2019, partnered with the Department of Centre for Management Development at GIMPA to provide an educational seminar for business owners.
The seminar which focused on Business Excellence was put together to empower organizations and individuals to create effective strategies for the success of their businesses. The one-day workshop provided insights and practical tools that can increase the capabilities of a person or organization to manage self and employees.
Speaking on the subject ‘Embracing Homeopathy as Alternative
Medicine,’ the Chief Executive Officer of Endpoint Homeopathic Clinic, Dr. Kofi
Adu Boateng, stressed on the need why every worker ought to stay fit.
According to Dr. Adu Boateng, the success of every business thrives on high productivity. This, he said, requires a healthy lifestyle to stay fit in order to achieve it. However, he detailed that many people today live the opposite lifestyle by eating junk foods, consuming more than enough alcohol and the likes, thereby contracting diseases like stroke and hypertension, etc. which account for high mortality rate and low productivity levels in the country.
Nevertheless, Dr. Adu Boateng said homeopathic therapy is
able to address those issues and diseases.
According to the well renowned Dr. who has received awards including
Best Practitioner in Homeopathic Treatment, Pioneer in Homeopathic Treatment,
Best CEO of the Year and several others to his name, homeopathic treatment
focuses on the root cause of each disease and deal with it.
“Homeopathy, unlike orthodox treatment, does not deal with
diseases on the face value. We find out what caused that particular sickness in
the first place. Once the root cause is established, we take the necessary
steps to address it,” he said.
Dr. Adu Boateng used the opportunity to advise all in attendance to be mindful of their current lifestyle as that can either help or destroy them, and that will determine how successful they can manage their various businesses.
Dr. Adu Boateng – CEO of Endpoint Homeopathic Clinic speaking at the seminar
He, on behalf of Endpoint Homeopathic Clinic, also offered free prostate screening for all the male participants, as well as free infertility screening for the women as part of the Endpoint’s 10 years anniversary celebration. Each participant also received a special coupon that would offer them a 30% discount on all services at the Clinic.
Other speakers on the day included COP Maame Yaa Tiwaa Addo-Danquah (Director-General, Criminal Investigations Department of the Ghana Police Service), Ms. Naa Adorkor Codjoe (Governance and Risk Management Specialist), Prof. Martin Morgan Tuuli (Dean of Business School, GIMPA), Patrick Otieku-Boadu (CEO, Spearhead Consult), etc.
The participants who represent various organizations expressed their joy and how impactful the seminar had been.
They also thanked Endpoint Homeopathic Clinic and GIMPA –

educative workshop.

Margaret carries a larger-than-life persona when she steps
into a room. Impressively vibrant and immensely talented, the Ghanaian-born
beauty exudes ambition that has gained her impressive movie roles.
A strong combination of warm personal charm and a rare figure, Margaret’s launch in the movie industry is steadily building momentum. With years of acting experience, Margaret Adu-Asabre is gradually becoming an in-demand, versatile force in the industry.

GhanaCelebrities.Com
(GC):Tell us about yourself.
Margaret: My name is Margaret Serwaa Adu-Asabre. I’m 30 years old, from Asante Akyem Agogo in the Ashanti Region. I’m an actress and entrepreneur. My hobbies include swimming and watching movies. Above all, I love to engage in philanthropic works. I want to grow as one of the top actresses not only in Ghana but internationally and impact positively on the future generations.
GC:What movies have you starred in so far?
Margaret: Evil Soul,
Ye De Owuo Ka, Boniaye Kae, Fatal Lust, It Takes Two, My Story, Look Into My
Thighs, Red line, Grave Yard, Lord Of Miracles, Monster and the list goes on
and on. I have also starred in TV series like Office Palava, Heartbreak Hotel,
Abrabo, and Biribi Gyegye Wo.
GC: That’s
impressive. What made you enter the movie industry in the first place?
Margaret: Acting
has always been part of me. It’s passion. I have been acting and performing
both at school and church since age six. Along the line, I was offered the
opportunity to play a role in a movie and I accepted it. One thing led to the
other and my love for the acting became kept increasing so I decided to pursue
it.
GC: How would you
describe the state of the movie industry in Ghana now?
Margaret: It is
still in its developmental stages and there’s more to be done to meet
international standards. The future looks bright for our industry. It’s not
where it ought to be but gradually I believe we will get there.
GC: That’s great.
What challenges do you face as an actress?
Margaret: The Biggest challenge is providing my own costume and makeup sometimes. And also managing production time alongside my other work.
GC: Where lies your
preference? Theatre or film; and why?
Margaret: For
now, I’m more inclined towards films because as an actress, I have more
opportunities with film than theatre, though I love both. Growing up, I started
with stage acting.
GC: What has been
your greatest accomplishment as an actress?
Margaret: My greatest accomplishment as an actress is adjusting to the arts and not getting carried away. It may not seem much but it takes a lot of discipline and humility to achieve this mindset. I have learnt to be always better than my former self and not compete blindly. It’s a personal accomplishment I’m proud of. Each production at a time with dedication and giving the best of me is my motivation. You know as an actor, we are always judged by our last work. So I take each project seriously and give my all.
GC: Describe your
acting style?
Margaret: I am
versatile so I am not restricted to a particular style of acting.
GC: Who is your
favourite actor and why? And what inspiration do you take from him/her
Margaret: Nana Ama McBrown inspires me a lot. I draw a lot of inspiration from her because of her versatility and dedication in the industry. She is confident and a fantastic actress. The way she handled her transformation when she lost some weight made her my role model. A lot of people thought it would affect her career but she worked hard and proved all critics wrong.
GC: Have you
progressed in your acting career as you expected?
Margaret: Yes I
have progressed since my first script. I have learnt a lot on the job and I
still continue to learn. My progress is due to paying attention to the various
directors I have worked with. I am certainly better than when I started.
GC: In which area would you like to improve as an
actress?
Margaret: I would love to improve on roles that demand physical effort. For example, if I’m asked to play a role as an athlete or a boxer.
GC: Any message to Ghanaians?
Margaret: I want Ghanaians to pay attention to my craft while supporting me. Together, we can make our movie industry a better one. Rome was not built in a day so I wish we all take it easy as people and work hard towards our dreams. Sooner or later, hard work will pay off.
GC: Thank you, Margaret.
Margaret: Thank you too and I appreciate the support.
Creativity is one aspect of music and musicians who tend to be creative and poetic in their songs mostly gain the attention of several music lovers.
One figure of speech that only a few musicians in Ghana make use in their songwriting is Double Entendre; where a particular phrase is devised to be understood in two ways. Typically one of the meanings is obvious, given the context, whereas the other may require more thought.
A.B. Crentsil made use of creativity in his ‘Moses’ song in
the past. In recent years, the late Ebony also dropped ‘Hustle’ of which a lot
of Ghanaians thought the song was profane. Wendy Shay dropped ‘Masakra’ and
received similar condemnation.
The latest controversial song that has towed similar line is
‘Cassava’ by Assanqoma. The song which was premiered Saturday, August 17, 2019,
has generated a lot of buzz and controversy due to its double entendre lyrics
and sexual undertones.
However, highlife musician Assanqoma has rubbished claims
that his newly released track titled ‘Cassava’ is a profane song. According to
him, the song comes nowhere close to a profane song.
In an interview with Dr. Cann on Happy FM’s Showbiz Xtra, Assanqoma,
known in private life as Justice Asankomah, said the song is about forgiveness
in relationships and not what people perceive it to be.
According to him, “a guy cheats on his partner and begs for
forgiveness. The lady is not willing to let go of whatever wrong the guy did
and accept him back in her life. As a thoughtful guy, he asks the lady what he
should do for the lady in other to be forgiven. Whatever the lady requests, the
guy is willing to do for the lady to replace the wrong he did so that he can be
forgiven.”
“The human brain mostly thinks about negative things and
that’s why people think it’s profane when they initially hear the song. Once
they get to know the story, then they realise their minds have deceived them,”
he said in a different interview.
He urged all to listen carefully the positive message a song
preaches and not make negative deductions when they hear a particular song.
Assanqoma, previously known in showbiz as Jestoo has
featured on several hit songs in the past including “Fiili Gadoochi” by Mframa,
“Twe wo ho” by Nana Fynn, and “Okyerewaba” by Barosky.

‘Cassava’ is the first single released by Assanqoma under
his new record label.
